Mizmo Submitted to App Store

Mizmo Title Screen
Put your mind to the test!
Challenge your mind as you pass time or use Mizmo as a memory sharpening tool to strengthen memory retention and stimulate brain activity.

Mizmo Garden Scene
Memory loss is an unavoidable part of life but acting swiftly and taking action by practicing techniques that can deter ongoing loss may help take the stress out of normal day to day operations. Just a few minutes of game play a day could make a huge impact on both short and long-term memory. Playing is simple and easy and designed for every user.

Mizmo Flower Scene
Mizmo is an interactive memory game that challenges the users’ overall attention to detail and the longevity of their short-term memory. Soft vibrant images are complimented by euphoric theme music and distinct audio and visual cues. Game play begins when the player selects the scene they wish to play in and Mizmo will start with its first cue. The player then replays the pattern by selecting the appropriate items on the screen. If the player is correct then game play continues building upon the pattern until an item is missed or entered incorrectly, which is indicated by a slight vibration. Returning to the main menu is as easy as shaking the iPhone a few times during game play.

Mizmo Classic Scene
Updates will include a global high score chart and variety of new scenes.
CPR Buddy 1.2 Submitted to App Store
by Divide By Zero Admin on Apr.09, 2009, under Uncategorized
Although we had big plans for version 1.2 we had a small set back.
Recently, we were notified that our CPR Buddy application logo was too similar to The American Red Cross (TARC) emblem.
We developed a new logo and have made the changes to our app for approval.
We expect that update to roll out within the week, or at worst by the end of the month.
Although no additional content has been added at this point, we urge you to update CPR Buddy as soon as it becomes available.
We would not want you to confuse us with TARC. We are not affiliated with TARC in any way, shape or form.
On a lighter note, we are expecting our next content update to be finalized by May 2009. I know many of you have been awaiting this update.
I can assure you that the content that has been missing will finally be integrated.
See you again in CPR Buddy 1.3!!
CPR Buddy 1.2 in the works

Some of feedback we have been getting has brought up afew things.
Lack of Pictures/Video
1) We will be adding pictures and/or video to show how to perform CPR with our application. We have been working diligently to find/create the appropriate graphics for our software. We will not use anyone’s graphics/video without the authors permission. The problem is that the only viable, already made materials were made by non-profit organizations and cannot be used in a paid application. This leaves us with the only option of creating it ourselves. This takes time as you may be aware, and so far we have not finalized anything that we think suits the overall application design.
Although I think our application description fits our product, some elude that they think our application does somthing that it does not.
2) This application is very simple by design. It shows a heart pulsing at 100 beats per minute. Depending on whether you select Cardiac or Respiratory CPR you will see a red pulsating heart and a green heart to indicate when rescue breaths should be performed if you decide to do so. During the operation of the application you will also have audio and tactile feedback (vibration) indicating when a chest compression should be performed.
I promise we will update the application to include more visual elements when we finalize them.
I hope this clears up the confusion.

Our CPR Buddy application went live on the App Store today. (yay!)
But after reviewing the text in the listing and updating it via iTunesConnect, our app has become temporarily unavailable for some reason.
Strange…
Well hopefully it will be cleared up soon.
I’m just glad to finally see our app in the store.
We spent a long time working out the kinks in the program when we originally wrote it using the official iPhone SDK. After much research, we ended up having to redesign the app using alternate methods. In the end, the app turned out almost the way we envisioned it. We intended for there to be video instructions but could not find a suitable video source that we could use. We will add a video tutorial on how to use the app with CPR as soon as we find or create one ourselves.
We also have made note that when we redesigned it the second time (what’s on the store now) that we forgot to put the anti-sleep code back in the app. We will add that by the end of the week and upload it to Apple for approval. It took almost three weeks to get the app in the store the first time. I hope that the update process works a little bit faster than the initial approval process. This process is fairly new to us so we will see how things go.
If you are affiliates with an iPhone review website drop us an e-mail so we can get you a promo code. Please include your name and the website you are reviewing for. We regret that any request not originating from the domain that you are reviewing for will be denied due to limited code availability.
